HIV/AIDS strikes one in four Zimbabweans. The average life expectancy is declining from around 37 today to an expected 27 in ten years. Women who turn to prostitution in order to earn money inadvertently contract and spread the virus. Miners, who work hard and relax drinking beer in their free time often approach hookers. and as a result also contract and spread the deadly virus. Many men work far from home, they too get lonely and contract AIDS later passing it on to their wives.
