Spanning a period of fifty years, from the 1920s to the 1970s, this timely exhibition includes Adams' photographs of the magnificent landscapes for which he is most celebrated. From the soaring monoliths of Yosemite National Park to the lakes and mountains of Alaska.

The New Art Gallery Walsall opened in February 2000 in the heart of Walsall town centre. It is a  unique civic building for Walsall and  was made possible by £15.75 million Arts Lottery Funding  and commissioned by Walsall Council which wanted the best for this vibrant West Midlands town.

Home to a unique permanent art collection and hosting the very best in contemporary art in its temporary exhibition spaces, the gallery provides a truly unique place for its visitors to learn from and participate in the visual arts from activity rooms, purpose built art library, children's discovery gallery and artist studios; The New Art Gallery Walsall is both a community and regional resource.
