Gomma Vol.2
With 25 photographers’ portfolios, a 48-page section entirely dedicated to B/W and a showcase of promising talents, Gomma Magazine Issue Two remains 100% photographic and without advertising. Daido Moriyama, Stephen Gill, Michelle Sank and Hiroshi Watanabe are just some of the names featured in this issue alongside exclusive interviews with Antoine d’Agata and controversial Russian photographer Nikolay Bakharev. Particular attention is given to emerging international talents, such as the fresh and explicit Japanese artist Tetsu Tominari, the most promising Italian photographer Alessandro Digiampietro, (capturing slices of Italian reality reminiscent of early Wolfgang Tillmans’ work) and interesting reportages by Ami Vitale and Timothy Fadek from the USA. Gomma Magazine is an independent magazine cre a ted by a team of professional photographers and visual artists based mainly in London. The team launched the first Gomma Magazine in 2005 taking inspiration from Provoke Magazine and Permanent Food. They wanted to generate a new space, entirely dedicated to photography and without the use of text and advertising.
