More than 400 people filled Honduras Street in London last night for the grand festive opening of the inaugural, annual SummerShow. 164 prints are on display until 31st August. All the entrants to the summer show, Foto8 members and a large number of London’s photo-loving community were invited and to our initial fright and massive pleasure so many people attended!
A full catalogue of the exhibition is available as a pdf and the Story of the Week online presentation provides a slideshow of the selected works.
The show itself was curated from 1800 individual entered images, representing 38 countries. A panel of judges will be choosing the Best in Show next Thursday but a public vote for the People’s Choice award is already underway.
There are many ways to participate in the summer show event over the coming month: Visit the gallery to vote in person; View the full exhibition catalogue online; Purchase and enjoy a photograph for yourself, all works are for sale.
