After the enormous success of the three previous Summershow exhibitions at HOST Gallery, Foto8 is pleased to open the submission process for 2011 entries.

Entries should be made online via our web form and can consist of up to three images per photographer.

A small entry fee is required for each submission which will be put towards the administration of the show, hanging the exhibition, the launch street party in July and the prize money award for the Best in Show.

Last year Foto8 received over 2000 images from photographers, professional and otherwise, in some 40 countries. The gallery walls were adorned with over 150 framed prints that were chosen as the Summershow selection for 2010.

This year we are pushing even harder! The prize money has increased to £2000 and we are seeking entries that truely reflect the spirit of photography as a unifying force of communication across all social boundaries and accessible to all.
