Making It Happen

You’ve made your best ever body of work. You’ve got a fantastic idea for an exhibition. You’ve created a dummy book so good it’s sure to be award-winning. What's next?

Making It Happen is the first in a new series of seminars from Foto8. It is designed to help you make it to the next stage in your photographic career by looking at models for self-funding, print sales, publishing and curating.

This intimate, one-day seminar will feature four speakers from various backgrounds, advising on how to make your ideas a reality, and examining the creative and practical challenges faced by photographers working today.

Each speaker will talk for approximately one hour, leaving ample time for questions aftwewards. At the end of the four presentations, participants will be put into groups in which each person will have five minutes to show and speak about their work and receive feedback from speakers and other seminar participants.

Speakers include: Rob Hornstra, Laura Noble, Judah Passow and Bas Vroege.
