Description
HOST is pleased to announce an evening with acclaimed photographer and video artist, Richard Mosse. Mosse’s work operates ‘between the two poles of photojournalism and contemporary art’, and explores what happens when history, documentary image-making and conceptualism merge within the gallery space. Mosse will be presenting a selection from a number of his most celebrated photo- and video- projects, including Infra, Breach, Nomads, Airside, The Fall, Leviathan, Killcam and Theatre of War.
Mosse is represented by Jack Shainman Gallery (New York), and is currently on the shortlist for both the Lacoste Élysée Prize 2010 and Ireland’s 2010 AIB Prize.
