Please join us to celebrate the launch of The Islam Issue with live entertainment plus sweets and treats in the street!

Writer Aamer Hussein, who contributed the fiction to this issue, will be reading from his most recent work and we will be screening the multimedia work of Peter Fryer, whose long-term project on the Yemeni community in South Sheilds was published in The Islam Issue.

This issue features the photographic work of Abbas, David Cowlad, Nicolo Degiorgis, Munem Wasif, France Keyser, Ivor Prickett, Mads Nissen, Hengameh Golestan, Christian Als, Peyman Hooshmandzadeh, Jehad Nga, Simon Norfolk Peter Fryer and Newsha Tavakolian. Along with insightful writing by Kenan Malik, Leila Ahmed, Aamer Hussein, Madiha R Tahir, Paul Hayward, Kevin Brice, Ziauddin Sardar and Robert Fisk.
