Look and Learn stage 1.1 is complete - Thank You!

Dear Look and Learn Supporters,

The online indiegogo fundraising campaign is now over but our work is just beginning. Thanks to everyone who has supported us through indiegogo, and others who have contacted us directly to donate, we have raised over £10,000. which is UTTERLY BRILLIANT!

I will be spending the next few days (weeks) catching up on writing emails of thanks to everyone, and meeting with foundations and other education organisations who have offered to help us develop and administer the programme in the coming year.

Yasmin and I have contacted the schools we promised we would work with and we have put dates in the calendar to start classes -  beginning as soon as next Monday! - and continuing through April, May and June.

We will be incorporating the Look and Learn programme, and its goals to build a national network of participating photographers and teachers, into a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation. This will give us the necessary transparency and status of trust to enlist the expertise of trustees and members who wish to share their knowledge and passion for photography and teaching to help develop the programme locally, nationally and internationally.

Thank you again for being part of the exciting birth of our 'Photography in Schools' initiative. Over the coming weeks we will post news of our progress on this site. I look forward to seeing you here and to collaborating together as we build the programme and take great photography to the eager children awaiting us in their classrooms.
