The Dear Leader Christopher Morris

Written by Christopher Morris

Once you are inside, past all the checks and security. Once they know who you are, just a photographer going about his business you become somewhat invisible, he told me. Thats when he was able to shoot people up-close and turn his view away from the straight in-line picture of the President.

Having spent 8 years covering The Bush Whitehouse, Morris shot this series of clips which he combined into a 14 minute film which he entitled "The Dear Leader".

The film can be seen on Dispatches Magazine, a quarterly publication and website which sets out to "examine a crucial topic in its full context, with seasoned writers whose experience is firsthand and with photographers who have shown an exceptional ability to capture human reality".

Running time: 14mins,
Format: Quicktime Movie,
Broadband recommended.
