The end of year show from BA photography graduates at the University College for the Creative Arts in Farnham came to the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane last week. The collection boasted a broad range of experimental approaches to three foundations of photography: landscape, portraiture and still life. Some favourites included Alex Bolton’s sharp, well-composed shots of urban cityscapes, Dawn Collins’ atmospheric, black and white images of coastal land fill sites and Katie Smith’s energetic portraits, amongst others.
