“Stripers almost became extinct, then they made a gigantic comeback 10-15 years ago. We’re not allowed to harvest them anymore commercially in the state of NJ (…) well they made a comeback, they catch them like that now… but the stripper now is a game fish in the state of NJ, when the waters cool-off you could catch them with 50-50 pounds, but you can’t commercial harvest it. I can see a regulation or restriction on something if it’s in trouble but when it comeback, open-it up.”
