Fortescue, also know as the “weakfish capital of the world” was severely damaged by the hurricane and although the County was declared a disaster area, out of the 1.8 billion dollars of the available federal aid, it has received less than 2 million.
Fortescue is now a ghost town, with most of its properties for sale.
