The screening will commence at 7pm. Travelling from New York City to Los Angeles, two European filmmakers conduct a series of interviews with Americans of diverse race, gender, religion and socio-economic standing. As they travel across America, listening to the stories of every-day people, they explore the current climate of social and political life in the United States.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>EXHIBITION: My America<\/strong><br \/> Christopher Morris<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hostgallery.co.uk\/cover\/cm3.jpg?w=200\" style=\"width: 200px; float: left;\" class=\"review_photo\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><span class=\"helvetica14\">My America, an exhibition of photographs by Christopher Morris, brings together work from his coverage of both the first and second presidential campaign trails of President George W Bush, as well as work from the recent campaigns of both Barack Obama and John McCain. <\/p>\n<p> Rather than focus on individual politicians, Morris\u2019s photographs concentrate on both the details of this staged pageantry that is the campaign machine as well as the devotees of these potential administrations. With his icy clarity he captures scenarios often intimate and sometimes alien; from the cherry-red lips of a supporter in the crowd, frozen in awe, to a secret service agent standing, his back to camera, in an empty concrete basement.
