Somewhere between a population drop of over a million people and becoming the murder capitol of the United States, a ghost town of monolithic proportions formed in midwestern America. When a city’s population halves itself in 50 years, there are bound to be problems. What is left is an ailing industry city trying to fill the shoes of a booming metropolis.<\/p>\n
Past the broken bricks and sleeping smokestacks, the streets become more and more desolate as you leave the core. Artifacts of life remain everywhere, telling stories. These images are meant to communicate the emptiness and strange discomfort one feels when walking the streets of Detroit.<\/p><\/div>\n
