{"id":569,"date":"2008-04-16T09:34:56","date_gmt":"2008-04-16T09:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.foto8.com\/live\/?p=569"},"modified":"2008-04-16T09:34:56","modified_gmt":"2008-04-16T09:34:56","slug":"diy-pinholes-from-corbis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.foto8.com\/live\/diy-pinholes-from-corbis\/","title":{"rendered":"DIY Pinholes from Corbis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Readymech pinhole cameras from&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/pro.corbis.com\/creative\/readycam\/default.aspx?lcd=en-us\">corbis.com\/readycam <\/a>are available in five designs which are downloadable as colour PDFs, complete with assembly directions and suggestions for the best way to get the most out of your film. I tried making a very rough version of the &#8220;Dr Livingstone&#8221; (without glue, board, ruler, fim, foil etc) to see just how easy it was.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m definitely not crafty nor steady-handed but it came out OK, if a bit flimsy and fragile \u2013 the actual &#8220;cameras&#8221; are only a bit larger than the two film cannisters holding the fim inside. It probably won&#8217;t result in any masterpieces but is definitely fun for those who like a bit of DIY.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now as to why Corbis would be putting this up on their site, I have no idea.
